[A]SQ&'s approach to hedonistic sustainability challenges the perception that living sustainably requires sacrificing enjoyment + pleasure. Through our projects, we aim to create a sustainable future that enhances quality of life, performance, profitability + pleasure. We view sustainability as a design challenge rather than a moral dilemma.

At [A]SQ., we believe that architecture has the power to positively impact our planet, + we strive to integrate sustainable strategies into every project we undertake. Additionally, we are committed to being a responsible business which thinks about the long-term and how the built environment can directly respond to the natural environment around it.

Our sustainability commitments are as follows:

/01. Environmental Stewardship:

We pledge to minimize the environmental footprint of our projects by prioritizing energy efficiency, water conservation, waste reduction + the use of renewable materials. We actively seek out innovative solutions that foster sustainability + environmental preservation.

/02. Resource Efficiency:

We are dedicated to optimising the use of resources throughout the entire design process. From conceptualisation to construction, we emphasise efficient use of materials + maximise their lifecycle by ensuring durability + recyclability + aspire to create carbon neutral projects.

/03. Passive design:

We incorporate passive design principles into our projects, harnessing the natural environment to reduce energy consumption. This includes optimising building orientation, maximising natural lighting, + utilizing natural ventilation for heating + cooling at every opportunity possible.

/04. Energy Conservation:

We are committed to minimizing energy consumption in our designs. We utilize advanced energy modelling techniques to optimize building performance + we prioritize energy-efficient systems + renewable energy sources to reduce reliance on traditional power grids.

/05. Water Efficiency:

We actively work to reduce water consumption in our projects by implementing water-conserving fixtures + systems, utilising rainwater harvesting + integrating stormwater management strategies. We aim to promote responsible water use throughout the design process from concept to completion to preserve this valuable resource.

/06. Indoor Environmental Quality:

We prioritize the health, comfort + well-being of building occupants by promoting superior indoor air quality, acoustics + natural daylighting. We consider human-centric design principles to create spaces that inspire + support the physical and mental well-being of their occupants.

/07. Community Engagement:

We actively engage with the local community to educate + raise awareness about sustainable design practices. We participate in community events, workshops, + educational programs to foster a sense of responsibility + direction amongst all stakeholders.

/08. Continuous Improvement:

We believe in the continuous improvement of our sustainability practices + aim to stay at the forefront of sustainable design techniques + technologies. We regularly evaluate our procedures, invest in research development, + collaborate with experts within the field to enhance our ability to create sustainable spaces.

By upholding these commitments, we ensure that each project we undertake not only meets the needs and aspirations of our clients but also leaves a positive + lasting impact on the environment + future generations.
